TG 03 SE THURNING MILL LANE

4/93 Craymerbeck House.

II

House of 3 C17 builds, with date 1697 to rear. Flint with brick dressings
rear, whitewashed flint and brick front pile. 2 storeys. Rear wing to north
forming up right of 'T' plan with date 1697 and initials I P, characters in
brick with lozenges. Ground floor plinth, first floor platband and quoins
in brick, dates and initials to north-east and south-east faces. North-east
front with 2 ground floor windows, one C20, first floor one C19 2-light case-
ment. South east front one ground floor 2-light casement, first floor one
2-light casement, one sash, all with glazing bars. Gable with one blocked
ground and 2 first floor and 2 attic fire windows, all blocked, end stack,
ridge stack. Front pile with C20 2 ground floor doors, 2 windows, 3 first
floor windows, all C20. Stack on line of straight edged joint between 2 builds
at north-west.
