4/101 Rookery Farm Cottages.


Farm cottages. c.1700. Flemish bond, red stretchers with black header brick
work, red and black glazed pantiled roof. Single storey with attics. 4 skew-
backed ground floor arches, red and black brick, mark original door and window
openings, now blocked by C19 arches for C20 door and window to each cottage,
central arch filled with 2 C20 casements. Brick plinth, dentil eaves cornice,
coped brick parapet gables, 2 end stacks. Steeply pitched roof, 3 dormers.
Gables with attic level platband and tumbling. - -
