Former village school, originally a farmhouse. C17 with mid C19
details. Flint with brick dressings, south wall red brick, red and black
glazed pantiles. 2 storey structure arranged as single storey hall. West
gable with C17 blocked 2-light central mullion brick window, large C19 3-light
wooden framed mullioned and transomed window. C19 lancet in gable, barge
boards. North front with blocked ground and first floor rectangular brick
dressed C17 windows, 2 C19 porches with lean-to. Gothic brick arched doors.
2 eaves stacks. South wall with 4 2-light mid C19 casements. Interior with
mid C19 stone fireplace with quatrefoil paterae. Included for group value on
Village Green.
