House, C17 with C19 additions to right. Brick and flint, pantiles. 2 cell
lobby entrance. 2 storeys and attic. Central axial stack. Brick with some
coursed flint to left hand side. Central door. Two 3-light casements under
segmental arches to each floor. Blank opening over door with smaller
inserted casement. Left hand gable to road: brick above eaves, one attic
window; coursed flint below with decorative zigzag brick work. Rear:
coursed flint with brick dressings; brick capped flint plinth, dentil
cornice, vertical brick quoin to left of right hand cell. Varied and
scattered fenestration. 2 cast iron casements, with cast iron glazing bars,
one with Gothic headed lights. Interior: large fire places to each cell.
Large floor tiles. C19 single storey and attic extension to right hand side
with large conservatory to front. Pantiles. Large relieving arch over door
and window. East gable end stack. One raking dormer.
