Large house. Late C18 with later additions. Rendered brick and flint. Slate
roof. West facade of 3 storeys, 7 bays. 3 centre bays break forward under
pediment with coat of arms. Central brick porch with Corinthian pilasters
Bind pediment over. Platband between ground and first floors. Sash windows
with glazing bars. Top storey sashes of 6 lights, rest of 12 lights. Hipped
roof. Range to left of, no special interest also of 3 storeys with sash
windows. South facade also of 3 storeys, platband between ground and first
floors. 3 bay bow the height of the house. Centre window of bow on first
floor Venetian, remainder sashes. East front with canted bow in centre, 3
bays to each side. Projecting from north of this is a C20 3 storey, 5 bay
wing with elliptical front. Rusticated with flint open arcade to ground
floor.
