Miller's house serving water mill (now demolished). Mid C18. Brick with
roof of black glazed pantiles. 3 storeys in 3 bays. Central half glazed
door within timber doorcase carrying open pediment above 5-vaned fanlight.
Sash windows with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Corners
strengthened with angle pilasters terminating in block capitals below modillion
eaves cornice. Third floor of reduced height. Hipped roof with 2
symmetrically placed stacks. Early C19 2 storey extension to rear lit through
segmentalheaded casements. Gabled roof with central ridge stack. This leads
to hipped 2 storey granary of early C19 : 2-light cross casements and loading
doors on each floor. Interior of house retains staircase with wreathed
handrail supported on square balusters of narrow section.
