Farmhouse. Late C16 origin, altered late C18. Brick. Roof of black glazed
pantiles and corrugated tiles. West facade of 2 storeys in 5 bays. 2 storey
gabled porch to right with round arched entrance. Platband below 3-light
mullioned window below pediment. Deep kneelers to gable head. 4 late C18
segmental-headed cross casements to ground floor of 3, 4 or 5 lights. 4 4-
light similar first floor windows. Bell-based gabled roof carrying 4 hipped
dormers with casements. South internal gable end stack. Gable heads with
tumbling. East side (rear) characterised by added outshuts under catslide
or lean-to roofs through which rise 2 stepped external stacks, partly rebuilt,
and with triple octagonal flues. C19 star tops. Stacks gabled back to main
roof.
