8/87 Neatishead Hall


Farmhouse. C18 and early C19 refronting. Slate roof. 2 storey parapeted
facade. Originally 4 bays, extended west by one bay on refronting. Pilaster
strips mark original size. C20 half glazed central door in panelled reveals.
Flat hood over. Windows are sashes, some replaced late C19, all with glazing
bars and gauged skewback arches. West bay ground floor window altered to
French window. Gabled roof with 4 ridge stacks. To rear a full height outshut
under catslide roof marks original extent of house. 2 C18 casements survive
to ground floor and 3 to first floor. Additional C20 casements scattered
here and there.
