House. C17 extensively altered c1800. Brick; pantile roof. L-plan with
porch to west, extended c1800 on east to T-plan; outshut to east. West
front of 3 bays, 2 storeys. 2-storey porch to centre bay with round-headed
doorway with hood mould; circular blocked opening with rendered reveals
to gable. C19 casements. Porch and brickwork to right diapered. 2
casements set in larger, blocked square openings. To left of porch later
brick. Left hand gable return not bonded-in suggesting this bay once
timber-framed. Left hand gable at different, steeper angle than present
roofline. Gable end stack. To the right of this range a projecting gabled
wing, also diapered, with 4 blocked tall, narrow openings to gable wall.
2 blocked square openings to north face. Kneelered gable. Gable end stack.
Diapered brick stack to rear wall of this range now partly rebuilt and
incorporated into outshut. South front first 2 bays of diapered brick,
remainder c1800. Left hand bay has tripartite sash windows with glazing
bars under segmental arches. Second bay has doorcase with fluted pilasters,
6 panel door, top 2 panels glazed. Casement to stair. First floor has
sash window with glazing bars. Third and fourth bays have a semi-basement
with casements, main floor has sash windows with glazing bars, smaller sash
windows with glazing bars to top storey. Right hand gable end stack.
