TG 23 SW ERPINGHAM THE STREET

House. Early C18. Brick. Smut pantiles. Rectangular on plan with
additions to either side and rear. Facade of 5 bays, 2 storeys and attic.
Central double doors of 3 panels each; surround with consoles supporting
pediment. Sash windows with glazing bars. Rusticated corner pilasters
supporting wooden dentil eaves cornice and iron gutter. 3 attic casement
dormers with pediments over. Internal gable end stacks. Shaped gables
with moulded brick platband between first and attic storeys. Extension of
C19 to right hand side with first floor bay window on brackets. C19 extension
to left hand with 3-light window having stone mullions and transom to ground
floor. Dormer window. Various extensions to rear of no special interest.
Interior. Oak panelling to one room, said to have been brought from Wood
Dalling Hall in 1904.
