TG 13 NE HANWORTH EMERY'S LANE

1/45 Meadow Farm House

House. Probably C16, and later. Brick and flint, probably timber-framed.
Pantile roof. Rectangular on plan. Brick front of 5 bays, 2 storeys;
central door with flat hood over; C19 casements. Moulded brick eaves
cornice. Flint gable returns to front have brick quoins. Kneelered parapet
gables. Internal gable end stacks. Flint gable end walls with brick quoins.
Right hand gable end wall has slit light with brick reveals to ground floor
and another, now blocked, between ground and first floors. Square light,
now blocked, to attic. To left of house a single bay, 1½ storey range with
C19 casement and gabled attic dormer.
