5/76 Manor House


House. Early C18. Brick; pantiled roof. Rectangular on plan with wing
to rear. Facade of 7 bays, 2 storeys and attic. Brick plinth. Leaded
cross-casements, probably C18, with stone sills and under flat brick arches.
Double doors each of 4 raised and fielded panels. Door surround of brick
with pilasters, moulded brick cornice. Moulded brick platband. Brick coped
gable end stacks; 1 off-centre axial stack. Left hand gable wall has 2
openings to first floor, one of which is blocked. Moulded brick platband
between first and attic floors. 2 blocked attic openings.
