Former parish church, now a ruin. Medieval. Knapped flint, brick and stone
dressings, iron bound conglomerate. Round tower. Knapped flints have
fallen off in places revealing coursed flint beneath. West window has
remains of stone reveals under 2 centred arch with alternate brick and flint
voussoirs; opening above this with brick reveals and 4-centred arch.
Polygonal stage above, with stone angles; opening to west. Battlements
with flushwork. Remains of brick stair to south. Tall, narrow archway
with some conglomerate quoins in flattened east face; brick head. Remains
of nave gable in place, mostly conglomerate. Interior. Niche under west
window. Scheduled ancient monument.
