House, facade of c.1800 on older core, rendered flint with dentil cornice,
pantiles. 3 bays, 2 storeys; 1½ storeyed extension to right in coursed flint
with brick dressings, pantiles with gable parapet. Left internal gable end
stack, shafts of right hand stack and extension stack removed. 2 sashes
with glazing bars and exposed boxes to each floor. Off-centre doorway to
right with moulded doorcase, 6 panelled door; door and horizontal sliding
sash with glazing bars to right extension. Rear: coursed flint with brick
dressings, flush sashes with glazing bars under segmental heads, 2 to ground
floor, one to first floor 2nd bay, 2-light casements to bay 1 and 3 of first
floor; leaded casement with pintle hinges to attic of west extension, gabled
glazed porch of 1920s under pantiles, rendered base. Extension to left has
small casement with glazing bars to ground floor, late C20 raking dormer
to attic. Interior: straight staircase between walls having turned newel
posts to top and bottom steps, mahogany rails. Large stacks at gable ends
and at gable end of extension enclosed.
