3/62 Pavillions and
at Kelling Hall
Two square pavillions and connecting east facing loggia, being a continuation
of ramped wall from east facade of north wing of Kelling Hall, 1913, by
E.B. Maufe. Knapped flint with brick dressings, pyramidal roofs of plain
tiles having small eyebrow dormers. Single storey, pavillion to right having
french windows with glazing bars to east terrace; 3 high small openings
to left pavillion. Connecting loggia curved inwards with 6 brick Tuscan
columns grouped 1:2:2:1 supporting a high parapet, lintel band of herringbone
tiles and lozenge stones. Glazed double leaved doors with glazing bars to
loggia from each pavillion.
