House. C16 remodelled in early C19. Flint with brick and stone dressings.
5-cell plan. Facade of 6 bays, 2 storeys partly obscured by ivy. Sash
windows with glazing bars. 2 storey C19 gabled porch to fourth bay with
rusticated quoins. Double-leaved doors, each of 3 panels, the centre panels
glazed. Curved fanlight with 2 radiating glazing bars and rusticated head;
drip mould. Sash to first floor with hood mould. Dentils to gable. Flanking
the porch to ground floor are 2 tripartite sashes. Single storey rusticated
brick porch to second bay with decorative barge boards. Door to sixth bay.
Sashes to first floor with timber lintels. C16 brick and some stone to
quoins; stone corbels. Timber modillions to eaves. Off-centre axial stack
and left-hand gable end stack. To rear, a stone 4-centred arched doorway.
Interior. Heavily chamfered wall, spine and transverse beams to ground floor
rooms. Upper rooms with heavily chamfered beams and cambered tie beams.
