Early C19, 3 storey, 3 windows South sash with glazing bars. White brick with splayed corners. Slate roof. Mutular eaves soffit. Ground floor shop with wood case with fluted Ionic engaged columns. West return face, No 1B, 6-panel door with fielded upper panels and patterned oblong fanlight in wood case with pilasters. Modern shop premises ground floor centre and right, 3 sash windows at upper floors, East return face, one window at upper floors, sash, and shop at ground floor, No 1A.

Nos 1A, 1B and No 1C forms a group with Nos 17, 17A and No 18 Market Place.
Also Nos 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and No 9 form a group.
