Late C17 early C18 exterior, 2 storeys, timber framed, plaster colour-
washed, Pantiles, renewed. Ogee bracket eaves cornice, Four 3-light
casements, at 1st floor, canted on corbels. Ground floor, 3-light modern
display window, left, 2-light modern display windows C18 door with
eared architrave and pediment, but with glazing substited for former
door, centre, and shop front with wood case with pilasters and central
entrance. Traditionally part of site of St Nicholas Chapel. Several
old walls under the building attributed to much older origin.
Nos 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and No 9 form a group.
