Probably C18 altered. East portion, No 1, 2 storey, 2 sash windows, at first floor, with glazing bars, and matching blank recess. Stucco, lined and painted. Shop front with entrance near centre with sunk-panelled pilasters and wood case. Separate entrance, left, (to No 2) with 4-panel door and wood case. Entrance also at splayed angle, right, with window above. Slate roof. Return face in Shelfanger Road, 2 windows, and ground floor wood shop front with sunk-panelled pilasters. West portion, No 2 (entered from No 1) 2 storey, 3 flush frame sash windows at each floor with glazing bars. Plastered and painted. Brick plinth. Passage under, left side, with oblong louvred opening above plain door.

Forms a group with No 52 Shelfanger Road.
