C17 altered, 2-storeys and attics, 4 gabled casement dormers. Pantiles. Stucco, painted, parapet with moulded cope. 6 flush frame windows at first floor centre 4 modern metal casements, and windows sash now with centre glazing bars only. Early C19 shop fronts, somewhat recessed below entablature, and with fluted cast-iron columns with foliate caps. No 20 entrance left with stone case with Doric columns and 6-panel door with steps up.

Nos 17 to 23A (consec) form a group.
