Low Farmhouse
TM 1683 52/647


C17 timber-frame house encased in red brick in C19 and being renovated in
1977. Steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack
off centre. Two storeys and attic (attic windows in end gables). Three
widely spaced windows. Modern 3-light casements with glazing bars, ground
floor in segmental headed openings. Doorway in front of chimney stack.
At rear a rebuilt or modern wing with twin gables.
Interior: chamfered ceiling beams and exposed joists.
