Large C16 timber-frame house with C17, C18 and C19 alterations. Gabled cross
wings at east and west ends. The east wing has stepped gable. The larger
west wing has stepped gable and octagonal angle shafts and pinnacles. The
central range has exposed timber-framing with close-studding, the ground
floor faced in C19 in red brick. The east and west wings are rendered.
Steep tiled roof and black glazed pantile roofs. Some original mullion windows
remain but now mostly C19 and C20 sashes and casements. Two storeys and
attics. Brick chimney stack at east end of centre range.
Interior: stopped and chamfered ceiling beams.
