Early C17 timber-frame house entirely encased in late C19 red brick with
late C19 red brick wing on west end. The original east part is 2 storeys
and has stopped chamfered ceiling beam, one end supported on carved post.
North wing also timber-frame with chamfered ceiling beams.
Exterior, red brick, slated roof, south elevation with 3 small gables, mullioned
casements in chamfered reveals, gabled hood over central doorway. Late C19
gabled cross wing on west end, with similar details. Included for C17 timber
