The Chequers
TM 18 NW 13/3


C17/18 timber-frame house. Plastered, brick plinth. Thatched roof with
gabled ends. One storey and attic. Ground floor three windows. Two gabled
dormers. C18/19 three-light casements. Two modern doors. Brick chimney
stack off centre. Date in gable of left hand dormer, 1799. Later lean-to
at rear.
