C16. Timber-framed, plastered ground floor. Steep pantile roof, west end
steeper pitch and hipped. Two storeys. First floor jettied and supported
on curved brackets on carved wooden shafts. Four widely spaced windows,
mostly modern casements, two original wood mullion windows one five-light
the other four lights, both on first floor. Left original moulded doorcase
with four-centred head with carved spandrels, modern reproduction "Tudor"
door with cover moulds. Central brick chimney stack. Plastered rear walls.
Wing at rear, timber-framed plastered, with brick stack. Interior: heavily
moulded ceiling beams, first floor panelled screen, stairs with moulded string,
shaped balusters and carved newel and moulded hand-rail about late C16.
Ground floor fireplace with heavily moulded timber bressumer.
