Circa 1840. Large house in gothic style. Asymmetrical design. Stuccoed
brick with rusticated quoins. Tiled roof with gabled ends. Two storeys
and attic. Four bays. Right of centre gabled with circular panel containing
quatrefoil. Large 2-light pointed arch casements with intersecting glazing
bars, and with dripmoulds. Right of centre large moulded pointed arch doorway
with fanlight with leaded panes, and wooden trellis porch. The south end
has big 2-storeyed splayed bay with similar gothic casements and gothic
French windows on ground floor with cusped lights. Gabled at rear. Brick
chimney stacks with grouped octagonal flues. Small domed bellcote. Contemporary
2 storey wing on north end with later addition.
