Church Farmhouse
TM 2185 15A/942


C17 timber-frame house encased in red brick in early C19. Steep pantile
roof with gabled ends. Two large external brick chimney stacks at rear.
Two storeys and attic (attic windows in end gables). Built into front (south)
is addition dated 1819, red brick, black glazed pantile roof with gabled
end, two storeys, three bays, sashes with glazing bars, flat rubbed brick
arches, central doorway with semi-circular fanlight and glazed door, brick
end stacks. Interior of original building has exposed timber-framing and
ovolo chamfered ceiling beam. Possibly resited early C19 round arched doorway
