Lift The Latch and
adjoining cottage
to south

C17 timber-frame house divided into two. Plastered black glazed pantile
roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys and
attic (attic window in end gables). Late Cl9 sashes and early C19 casements.
"Lift the Latch" has doorway in front of stack with moulded architrave, panelled
door and rectangular fanlight. Later lean-to on south end and later outbuilding
adjoining on north end.
