C17 timber-frame house, plastered. Steep black glazed pantile roof with
gabled ends. Modillion eaves cornice. Brick chimney stack off centre and
at each end. Two storeys and attic. Five windows. Sashes with glazing
bars in exposed casing. On right ground floor two canted bays of sashes
with glazing bars. Modern flat roof dormers. C18 brick addition at rear,
two storeys and attic, with porch at east end with Tuscan columns and entablature.
Interior: stop chamfered ceiling beams. Two C18 carved wooden and one marble
fireplace from Flixton Hall.
