North Farmhouse
TM 28 NW 15/959


C17 or earlier timber-frame house encased in red brick in late C19. Part
of the rear has plaster exposed. Steep tiled roof with gabled end. Central
brick chimney stack with rebuilt lozenge shaped shafts. Two storeys. C18
and Cl9 casements. Timber frame wing on east side, forming L-shaped plan,
also faced in late C19 red brick.
Interior: the west wing contains stop chamfered ceiling beams. The east
wing has ovolo chamfered ceiling beam.
