C16 timber-frame house faced in buff coloured brick in early C19 and with
early C19 wing added to east end. Now divided into three dwellings. Nos
2 and 3: C16 timber-frame faced in brick, and with steep tiled roof, two
storeys and attic, late C18/early C19, two and three-light casements, two
gabled dormers. West end cross wing with hipped roof at front and gabled
at rear with small gabled wing to side with Venetian stair window. Interior
of No 3 contains stop chamfered ceiling beam and heavy moulded fireplace
bressumer. Rendered brick chimney stack off centre. At east end facing
east is late C18/early C19 wing (No 1) in buff-coloured brick with hipped
slate roof and very wide eaves with bracketed soffit. Two storeys. Three
bays. Sashes with glazing bars, flat rubbed brick arches. Central doorway
with glazed double doors and semi-circular fanlight.
