BAWBURGH HALL FARM PLACE

Former outbuilding to Bawburgh Hall (demolished). C16 and C18.
Converted into dwelling c.198O. Brick and ashlar with flint plinth
and pantiled roof. 2 storeys with scattered C20 fenestration. C16
gable-end wall of re-used ashlar. 4 rectangular hood moulds above
blocked openings. Moulded coping to parapetted gable with 2 re-used
C14 gargoyles in the form of grotesque heads beneath. Tie-ends form
initials L.S. Mainly brick side walls with segmental arched openings
on ground floor. Upper floor is an C18 addition. C16 roll-moulded
beams inside.
