Beehive Lodge
Late C18 with C20 wings. Circular Cottage Ornee in gothick style. Colourwashed
brick with thatched roof. 2 storeys with 8 bays. 2 opposing bays originally blind
articulated with 4-centred arched recesses. 2-centred arched windows with 2-light
frames and Y-traceried comes. Bays defined by free-standing rough tree trunks
carrying eaves. Conical roof with central octagonal chimney. Originally one of
lodges to Costessey Hall.
