Nos. 138, 140 and 142

C17. Originally a single house. 138 and 140 are now a single dwelling whilst
142 remains separate. Colourwashed brick and flint with rendering in places.
Pantiled and plaintiled roof. L-plan Lobby Entrance type. Central axial
stack in main wing. Gable-end stack and later intermediate axial stack in
subsidiary wing. Two storeys with attics. Steep pitched roofs. C19 casement
windows in original openings in main wing and lower end of subsidiary wing.
C20 windows in rest of subsidiary wing. Modern full-length lean-to added
to main wing. Various lean-to's to rear. Original fireplace in main wing.
