6/32 Green Farmhouse

GV II

Gothic Revival farmhouse. Mid C19. Red brick and some blue brick with
plaintiled roofs. T plan with service wing to rear. 2 storeys with full-
height central porch. 4-centred arch to front doorway with a 3-light case-
ment with cambered head above surmounted by a 2-centred polychrome relieving
arch enclosing the Wodehouse family crest. 2 4-light, one 6-light, and
one 2-light arched mullioned ground floor windows with rectangular hood-
moulds. 2 projecting half-dormers above supported on moulded brick corbell-
ing and with tile-hung gables. Lozenge and cross designs in blue brick
headers. Alternating circular and octagonal gable-end chimneys decorative
ridge tiles and barge boards.
