Farmhouse. C17, heightened and extended in 1868 (as advertised on datestone)
Brick with decorative plaintiled roofs. L plan with service wing to rear.
Originally single-storeyed now 2-storeyed with attic. Cl9 casement fene-
stration. Central front door with a cusped flat hood supported by arched
braces. Half-hipped roof with cusped fascias and barge boards and decorative
ridge tiles. Central gabled dormer with cusped barge boards. Single-
storeyed side extension with bay window surmounted by gable. Roof and fascia
treatment similar to main block. Moulded brick faces and floral designs
set into brickwork presumably having come from the nearby ruins of Kimberley
Hall.
