Parish church. Mediaeval and Victorian. Flint with stone dressings;
chancel faced with colour-washed brick; slate and plaintile roofs. C15
west tower, C12 south wall of nave, C19 north aisle and south porch and
re-faced chancel. Norman south door with one order of nook-shafts,chevron-
moulded jambs and medallion-moulded arch. One C14 Y-traceried and cusped
2-light south window. Unbuttressed west tower with a 2-light Y-traceried
west window, 2-light ogee-traceried bell-openings and a crenellated parapet.
Chancel tracery Victorian. C14 2-bay north arcade with an octagonal cen-
tral pier and 2-centred arches of 2 plain-chamfered orders. C14 chancel
arch with facetted responds. Tall C15 tower arch. Octagonal font of
Purbeck stone with,shallow, 2-centred blind arches: c.1200. Victorian
roofs.
