II
Former watermill now workshops. C18 and C19. Part colour-washed brick
and part weather-boarded timber frame with pantiled roofs. Irregular
plan. Mainly 3- and 4-storeyed with attics. Many surviving cast-iron win-
dows with glazing bars, beneath segmental arches in brickwork. Surviving
wheel-pit to east with an arch-braced jettied gable above. Gabled locum
to north. 2 C18 roofs with wedge-tenoned butt-purlins. Fragmentary
remains of bins and chutes and an electricity generating turbine.
