Parish church. Medieval and Victorian. Flint with ashlar and some brick
dressings. Plaintiled and pantiled roofs. Round western tower, nave with
north aisle and south porch; chancel. Late medieval west tower with brick
window dressings possibly contemporary with C15 octagonal bell-stage. 2-
light traceried bell-openings and crenellated parapet. Nave fabric probably
C12 with a re-set simicircular headed door in north aisle and absence of
western quoins. 2 C15 2-light traceried nave windows. North aisle of 1872
with some re-set ogee tracery. Very fine late C13 chancel with 6 lancets
to either side with trefoil bar traceried heads. Victorian plate-traceried
east window. Deeply moulded C15 south door with 4-centred arch. Victorian
3-bay north arcade. Chancel with finely carved shafted divisions between
windows which have hood-moulds with carved label stops. C15 nave roof with
roll-moulded wall plates and closely spaced collared trusses.
