5/15 The Old Rectory

- II

Former rectory. C18 with Cl9 rear pile. Rendered clay lump with brick quoins
and plinth and thatched roof. Rear pile of colour-washed brick with pantile
and corrugated pantile roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 bays with recessed
centre bay. Original 2-light mullion and transom windows with metal casements
and horizontal glazing bars at first floor. Replica ground floor windows.
Front door with glazing bars and raised and fielded panels below. Verandah
with lozenge pattern cast iron side supports and a corrugated metal bell-
base lean-to roof. Hipped roof with 2 axial stacks and 2 dormers to rear.
C19 gault brick 2-storey canted bay to side.
