6/38 Hall Farmhouse

Former Lobby Entrance type farmhouse. C17 and later. Rendered timber frame
with some brick re-facing. Pantiled roof. One and half storeys. 4 C18
windows with metal casements. Doorway formerly opposite stack with raised
and fielded panelled door re-positioned at north-eastern end. C20 French
windows. 2 sloping dormers to front one to rear. Off-centre axial stack.
Shallow-pitched roof probably C18. Later gabled extensions to rear. Stair
to former entrance side of stack. Fine fireplace lintel at first floor with
cambered soffit and carved border decoration. 2 fine C18. corner cupboards.
Re-used clasped truss in extension roof. Stepped chamfer stops.
