Large house. Circa 1800 and later. Gault brick with black pantiled roof.
5 bay main block with slightly recessed service wing to east side and recessed
Victorian extension to west side and rear. 2 storeys and 5 bays of sash
windows with glazing bars, taller at ground floor. Skewback arches and blind
boxes with surviving blinds. Fine central doorcase with reeded half columns
and fluted frieze with paterae. Raised and fielded panelled door with
traceried fanlight above. Doorcase to rear (now enclosed) with pilasters
and fluted frieze. Victorian extension with 2-storey canted bay on west facade
Hipped roofs and the 2 main block stacks on rear wall. Some internal doors
with circular panels and surmounted by Corinthian entablatures with pulvinated
friezes. Victorian conservatory on west side of main block.
