Farmhouse. C16 and later. Timber frame mainly faced with colour-washed brick.
Black pantiled roofs. Original build 2 bays to south of off-centre axial
stack, C17 to north of stack, and a late C17 or C18 bay added to south. Low
side addition probably of C18 date. 2 storeys. C19 and C20 irregular fene-
stration with some 3-light windows with metal casements and horizontal glazing
bars. Ground floor windows beneath segmental arches. Winding stair beside
stack. 2 bays to south of stack late C16 with first floor originally open
to queen post roof of which the cambered arch braced ties and queen post
mortices remain. Other roofs of butt-purlin type with collars.
