Former farmhouse. Late C16, C17 and later. Timber frame re-faced and extended
in colour-washed brick. Pantiled roof. Original house extended to side to
which a later cross wing was added. 2 storeys with attic. Scattered fene-
stration of modern casements with glazing bars. One sloping dormer. Moulded
brick stringcourse on C17 side extension and platbands to cross wing. One
axial stack on junction with cross wing and one later stack on rear wall of
original house. Cross wing gable with tumbling in. C17 stair from first
floor to attic only. Clasped purlin roof to original house, butt-purlin roofs
to extensions. One blocked 3-light ovolo moulded mullion and transom window
on inside of east gable of cross wing.
