9/76 Belcoombe Lodge

GV II

Former lodge to Belcoombe. Circa 1800. Colour-washed brick with pantiled
roof. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade of 3 bays of 3-light windows with metal
casements and some leaded glazing beneath skewback arches with slightly cam-
bered soffits. Ground floor windows with transoms. Central porch with
shallow gable probably a later addition. Projecting eaves with hipped and
tented roof. 2 stacks to rear. Included for group value.
