2/23 Beech Farm House


Farmhouse, C17, much modernised. Red brick with steeply-pitched pantile
roof. Two storeys and attic, lobby entrance plan. North facade of five
windows, widely-spaced; C20 3-light casements with cambered heads to ground
floor openings. Two ridge chimney stacks symmetrically-placed. C20 brick
porch with stepped gable opposite eastern stack. Crow-stepped gables with
moulded brick kneelers; the crow-steps on the east gable added during
recent modernisation works. Attic casements in gables; two blocked window
openings in west gable. Platband at first floor level on south side.
