GV II

Farm building. Mid C16. Timber frame clad in tarred weatherboarding, partly
underbuilt in C20 blockwork and rendered. Thatched roof, half hipped at north
end, gabled to south. Of three structural bays, truncated to south. Arch-
braced tie beams on jowled principal posts supporting two tiers of queen
posts. Down-braces from lower queen posts to outer ends of ties. Square
set purlins with arch braces from queen posts. Upper purlin and posts
probably replaced. Diagonal bracing to wall studs; double door opening in
north end.
