GV II

Former threshing barn and outbuildings. Early C17. Timber frame clad in
tarred weatherboarding on brick plinth. Steeply pitched roofs of pantiles
and corrugated iron sheet; roof hipped at north-east angle. L-shaped on plan.
Barn aligned east-west: 3-stead with double doors off-centre in south wall.
Stable door at south-west corner: first floor inserted at west end. Arch-
braced tie beams on jowled principal posts. Roof has clasped upper and butted
lower purlins; windbraces to upper purlin. Lower range to east, of four
structural bays: arch-braced tie beams on jowled posts, corner braces to wall
studs. Roof structure much repaired and replaced.
