Farmhouse. C18 remodelling of C17 house. Colourwashed brick, crosswing
partly rendered. Steeply pitched roofs of black-glazed pantiles. Two storeys
and attics, L-shaped. West elevation of three bays with 3 and 4-light
casements with transoms. Segmental arches to ground floor openings. Centre
entrance bay flanked by plain brick pilasters. 6-panel door with upper panels
glazed, simple door surround with half-round pilasters. Two small casements
in outer bays beside stacks. Plain corner pilaster to north-west. Two gabled
attic dormers with 3-light casements. Large gault brick axial stack at north
end with four diagonally-set linked shafts. Red brick axial stack to south.
Crosswing at south-west has ground floor 4-light segmental headed window,
first floor door flanked by slatted vents and two slatted attic vents in west
gable. Gable apex rendered. Two projections to east, the southern projection
with part-cellar. Hipped roof with brick dentil eaves course. External
chimneystack on south side.
