Farmhouse. C17 and C18; rear wing may have earlier core. Red brick, partly
rendered and colourwashed. Steeply pitched pantile roofs, black glazed on
front elevation. Two storey rear wing, 2 1/2 storey front, L-shaped plan.
Symmetrical 3-bay east facade: sashes with glazing bars and cambered heads;
skewback arches over openings. Central doorway with eared architrave and
flush-panelled reveal. Door with raised and fielded panels, the bottom
section in one large panel. Rectangular fanlight, later canopy on brackets.
Sawtooth brick eaves course. Three C20 gabled dormers. Shaped and pedimented
north and south gables, with window openings at each level; ground floor
opening extended to floor level on south gable. Lower rear wing with C20
fenestration. Rear gable with continuous tumbling-in and internal chimney
stack. Brick dentil eaves. South wall and return rendered and colourwashed.
Two chimney stacks on rear wall of taller range.
